Using the game

Combinaut is free to play in a browser. You do not need an account and we do not charge for anything. You may play it, link to it, write about it and share screenshots of it.

Please do not

• Automate the combination endpoint or use it as a general-purpose text generator. It runs on a rationed free tier, and one script can consume a day's allowance for everybody.
• Scrape the database in bulk. If you want the data for something, ask.
• Deliberately probe the content filter.

We rate limit rather than ban where we can, and the game stays playable from the existing database even when new generation is unavailable.

The game data

The combinations are generated by us and we maintain them. Element names are generated text and may occasionally be odd; we filter them but no filter is perfect. If you find something that should not be there, tell us and we will remove it.

Infinite Craft is a game by Neal Agarwal, at neal.fun. Combinaut is an independent game with its own universe of elements, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to neal.fun or Neal Agarwal. Where we mention another game by name it is a factual comparison and nothing more. All trademarks belong to their owners. Why our combinations are our own.

No warranty

The game is provided as it is. It runs on free infrastructure tiers, so it may be unavailable, rate limited, or unable to generate new combinations at times. We make no guarantee of availability and we are not liable for anything arising from using it.
